Episode 5 to 6

Episode 5. As Emman keeps an eye on Benjo’s every move, he discovers Atty Alex’s hiding place. Emman accidenally kills Atty. Alex, leaving Benjo in distress. The key to Benjo’s escape plan is now dead. Trying to save as much of his original plan, Benjo realizes that if he can still win with Emman behind his back. Benjo attempts to conspire with Emman. He tries to convince Emman to work with him. Benjo plants a seed of doubt in Emman’s mind. That he is worthless in the eyes of the Congressman. That in the end, he can easily be disposed like garbage. Initially, Emman does not have any reason to believe Benjo. Until an encounter with the Congressman makes Emman realize that there is truth in what Benjo is saying. Ultimately, this sways Emman’s loyalty towards Benjo.

Episode 6. After Benjo saved Emman’s family from the bloody massacre, Emman comes around and accepts Benjo’s deal. Benjo will teach Emman all of the things he needs to learn to become a skillful bagman. Now well-equipped, Emman returns to Congressman Matias, but now as Benjo’s pair of eyes. While Emman tries to regain Congressman Matias’s trust, Benjo is diving deeper into Go Ming’s world. As Benjo succeeds in letting Go Ming’s guard down, he takes this opportunity to look for any evidence that he may use to expose the Triad’s criminal operations.
